Tom Totushek

Tom Totushek (aka TheMathProphet) is an STEM teacher at OWL is an advocate for STEM education with emphasis on underrepresented groups. He has taught at Open World Learning Community (OWL, formerly known as Saint Paul Open School) for over two decades and is the Crew leader of the “Best Crew at OWL” the Snakes and Foxes. Tom currently teaches 8th grade mathematics, AP Statistics, AP Computer Science, and Physics while coaching archery and robotics. Outside of teaching, Tom likes to spend time camping with his family, reading high fantasy, watching NBA basketball, and sleeping.
