OWL Registration and Course Guide

Your success at OWL is important to us and creating your future is what course registration this is all about. Decisions regarding your education are among the most important choices you will make in life. To support your graduation and open the doors of opportunity in your future, select courses that meet graduation requirements, match your career goals, and challenge you.

Registration Guidelines

There are two major steps for students in planning their next year’s program of studies: (1) registration and (2) scheduling. During the spring, students register for courses for the following school year. Based on student registration data, the school administration will determine courses/sections to be offered, staff needed and a master schedule of classes for the next year. Therefore, students should register with care and after consultation with their Crew leader, teachers, counselor, and parents/guardians.

Students will complete registration. This will be completed on campus during the beginning of April.

Students will complete the registration worksheets and sign up for classes through the course planner on campus. Courses will be reviewed by crew leaders, counselors, and staff, however it is ultimately the responsibility of the student to ensure they sign up for appropriate classes.

After students’ registration plans have been approved by parents/guardians and counselors, classes are then scheduled for the fall and spring semesters for the following school year. Schedule change applications will ONLY be accepted in a Google form through the first week of each semester. AP Courses, Choir, and Spanish are year-long commitments and cannot be dropped at quarter or semester.
