Model UN

 

The Model United Nations (MUN) club at OWL was established in the 2023-24 school year and is currently led by students Dutcher Trobaugh and David Griffith and Social Studies teacher Luke Turvold. Model UN enables students to learn about the principles of the UN and how it functions. Members practice calm and civil debate as well as public speaking, writing, and research skills. The club strives to empower students by giving them tools and experiences that prepare them to be the next generation of global leaders. An annual conference is held at the Macalester College campus. MUN is a 9-12 club.
