Steppingstone Theatre Project Second trimester Theatre students are learning techniques of Forum Theatre developed by Augusto Boal, a theatre artist from Brazil who uses theatre to support social action. Through a grant from COMPAS, Open School actors have been working with Emily Kramer, a teaching artist from Steppingstone Theatre, to create scenes based on social issues at school. The actors will present their scenes to ELC classrooms and SLC advisories and demonstrate techniques for stopping violence and disrespect. A few from the class will be featured at the annual All-State Theater Forum to be held at the Guthrie Theatre on March 1st.
