Welcome to Open Education Abroad! A key part of the “open “ in Open School means that student learning isn’t confined by the walls of our school. Open Education Abroad is a new program that combines international travel and experiential learning by taking secondary students and staff to stimulating destinations around the globe. Since 2001, Open Education Abroad has traveled to England, Spain and Italy, with future trips in the works to more exciting and enriching destinations. Students are accompanied on the trips by English teacher Bridget Martin other staff, including Tom Totushek and former school secretary Mary Kay Casey.
