Open
School is the original and only K-12 School in the district. Our school
was founded by parents and community members to offer a small-school
environment that nurtures every student’s learning potential. Our
program is based on:
• Hands-on methods that encourage curiosity and discovery
• Self-directed learning guided by interests and abilities
• Multi-age classrooms that allow each child to excel at their own pace
• Learning opportunities between students of all ages
Open
School has a safe, family-like atmosphere where students support each
other and cliques scarcely exist. With just 400 students (K-12), every
Open School student is a known and valued part of our community.
