I was born in Duluth, MN to a large family of 11 children, including
me. Everyone in my family loves to read, so I learned to read at a very
young age.
We moved to West St. Paul when I was 10. I was a school service worker
in my high school library and in my college library. After college, I
lived in France for 15 months with a French family as an Au Pair,
otherwise known as a nanny.
I worked at many other jobs until I worked as a librarian at Henry
Sibley High School for 4 years. I then worked for St. Paul Public
Libraries for a long time, both downtown and at some branches.
This is my sixth year at Open School. We have a beautiful new library!
Please come and visit it. I am married and my husband and I have a cat
named Chufla. I still love to read! I also like to walk, swim, garden
and cook.
